Livy Case, a high school junior and the school's outcast, is left to fend for herself after her popular brother was killed in a mysterious car crash. While searching for him, Livy is forced to confront her grief on Halloween night in the underworld known as The Thriller.

Inspired by the seven deadly sins, each episode follows a different woman in one city, New York. Although stand-alone, the episodes more often than not intertwine.
